Set Up For Success

You have accepted the challenge, and are now waiting for the first challenge. Is there anything you can do to set yourself up for success? There sure is. With these resources, you will be able to not only achieve, but exceed, this challenge. You can find everything from other resource on the web to books to supplies.

First, a great way to get this challenge off to a good start is to get a visual progress station set up in your house. Below are some options I put together to provide the best option possible:

Your Child's Food 1 Year Challenge Tracking Poster zazzle_print

Poster
For the very young to young child: This simple Poster shows the 13 themes, and as your child completes each activity in a theme, they can mark it off – either with a Challenge Sticker or a pen.

Calendar (available in the future from Zazzle)
For the young child and beyond: Similar to the Poster, but slightly more sophisticated, this thirteen challenge calendar allows your child to track his or her progress through the week each week, and mark of that the activity was completed at the end of the week, either with a Challenge Sticker or a pen. If you are interested in the Calendar, please let me know so I can move it's creation up.

Stickers
The Challenge Stickers work with the poster and calendar to give a more visual indication of progress and past achievements.

Journal (available in the future from Amazon)
For the older child or journal keeper: This journal allows the child to jot down favorite recipes, what they liked about a challenge, what they didn’t like. It is great for more detailed tracking as the child goes through the different activities and themes of the challenge.  If you are interested in the Journal, please let me know so I can move it's creation up.

About Claire

My parents raised me right. Food has enriched my life from childhood. Now that I am a mother, I am taking a one year challenge to enrich my daughter’s life through food. I invite you take this challenge with me, for your child.

When I decided to share this challenge, I decided that if a single activity was not appropriate for children 6 months to 18 years, I would break it into several sub activities, each targeting a different age group.
