What a little sweetie pie. I have so loved watching my four girls "cook" for me from the tiniest ages. Now, at 5-16, they all cook with or for me for real. It's amazing to watch...and taste! Smile

Thanks Shannon,

It sounds like your girls’ cooking has just improved over the years.

Thanks,

I love this post!  You little girl is so precious and she looks so very happy!  I always think the mind of a child is something far bigger than we could ever imagine and the wonder they find in simple pots and pans amazes me!

It is one of the greatest joys in my life to watch her little mind at work. I agree with you, it is so much bigger than most people realize, and so wonderful as well.

Thanks,
Claire

How beautiful that is!  Always love when my daughter "cooks" along beside me!

Thanks Joy,

Isn't it wonderful when the toddler wants to cook with you? I have to say, Samantha's dad is pretty wonderful with her "cooking". He will come in to watch her put frozen meatballs on a tray, or hold the measuring cup while I fill it then turn it into the bowl. Then, at dinner, he will tell her how wonderful she did at cooking the food. It really helps her to feel that she is cooking with mommy. I bet you will remember your little girl cooking with you for the rest of your life.

Thanks,
Claire

What is it about kids and pots? They just love them - they are so shiny (what's not to love!)

About Claire

My parents raised me right. Food has enriched my life from childhood. Now that I am a mother, I am taking a one year challenge to enrich my daughter’s life through food. I invite you take this challenge with me, for your child.

When I decided to share this challenge, I decided that if a single activity was not appropriate for children 6 months to 18 years, I would break it into several sub activities, each targeting a different age group.
